While most kids haven’t figured out who they are or what they want in life, one fifth grade boy knows exactly how to handle his preteen crushes. You’d expect something awkward from a 10-year-old boy, but this note has gone viral because of its simple, perfect nature. He knows what he’s about, and his technique seems to be working on people of all ages. (Seriously, how cute is this note?)
Your eyes remind me of the evening sky. Myheart felt like broken glass until I saw you, and then I felt like I had every pokemon ever. I love how you play Zelda even when people think its weird. If you liked me it would be my first ever victory. Love, W.”
Complete with I’s dotted with hearts and a note outlined in cheetah print cardstock, he knows exactly how he feels, and he isn’t afraid to express it. He had a little help from a few of his female classmates (whom we think were responsible for the cheetah print cardstock), but the sentiments were from the heart.
However, it wasn’t meant to be. When the public demanded to know if Abby accepted, we learned that little W. had previously hit another female student at school, causing Abby to decline. She said that they can still remain friends and still talks to him about Zelda in art class. Yikes. Keep trying, W.! And maybe don’t hit anymore classmates in the future.
