Their Son Crossed The Canadian Border To Go To A Concert And LOST Their Car! She Found It.

Gavin Strickland just wanted to see Metallica in concert. Driving from his hometown in the family’s car, her parked, went to the concert, and had a blast! He posted pictures and raved on Twitter about how incredible the show was. But when it was time to return home…he couldn’t find the car. More specifically, he couldn’t remember where he had parked. Toronto is a huge area, and the only thing their son could remember was that he parked “somewhere near a Starbucks and a construction site.”

They told him not to return home until her found their car, but he wasn’t having any luck. He took a bus home and his parents started to monumental task of finding their car in a city across the Canadian border by asking strangers for help. They posted an ad on Craigslist with a $100 reward.

Our doofy son parked the car in an indoor parking garage on the first floor (or slightly lower level)…” near an “allegedly strange spiral outdoor sculpture,” and “possibly a bank.”

The story went viral as locals laughed at the smalltown kid’s hilarious blunder. Eventually, a 26-year-old woman and her boyfriend spotted the car and sent this picture as proof.

He hopes that his sudden fame will help him to fulfill a lifelong goal: become a movie star. His parents just hope that he doesn’t lose their car again.
