She Was Stopped In The Grocery Store By A Veteran In Need Of SERIOUS Help

Lisa Jackson went for a quick trip to the grocery store in Georgia when she noticed an elderly man who seemed to be in need. She could have kept walking, but something in his eyes told her that he needed help.

She shot him a quick smile as she was about to pass, but the look on his face stopped her in an instant. She walked over to him and asked what was wrong. His explanation stopped her cold.

I have colon cancer,” he said.

He had lost control of his bodily functions and knew that he needed help. If he got up from the cart, he admitted, everyone would know that he had just had an accident in the middle of the store.

Lisa didn’t hesitate. She called a manager who quickly picked out wipes, an adult diaper, and spare clothing to give the man and took him to the employee’s restroom.

When the man came out of the restroom, his groceries were all bagged and waiting for him at the front of the store by the staff. He thanked them with sincerity.

He said he fought in Vietnam and Korean War and loved his country, but up until day he said he thought his country forgot about him,” Lisa wrote.

When people need help, care for one another. She hopes that her story inspires others to choose to do the right thing when faced with situations like this. Her shopping trip was delayed by two hours as she stuck around to help this man, but it was worth every moment.
