She Glues A Saucer To A Chandelier. The Result? The PERFECT Gift For A Beautiful Garden!

Looking for a creative gift for a garden lover? Or maybe you’re just looking to spruce up your backyard or foyer with a truly unique display for your favorite plants! Regardless, this is a fun project with will bring a whimsical touch to your home…and the best part is that it can be done in only a few hours!

This is the most complicated part: find an old chandelier and remove the fake candles and wiring. You will need wire cutters and pliers for this part! You should end up with little “hands” that look nearly empty!5.2a10Using epoxy or a putty of some sort (really, whatever you have lying around will probably work!) secure saucers to the hands. You don’t need to use planting pottery – you can use plastic pots if you want! This project is versatile and can easily be made with any extra things you happen to have lying around.5.2a11Using glue and putty, add the pots to your saucers! She added a layer of putty to create holes for water to drain out of, but it is an optional step!5.2a12Once the pots are securely in place, take the whole thing outside (or in a well-ventilated room) and use a spray paint that has been tested for outdoor use. The paint will need to withstand the elements of nature, so choose a good one in your favorite shade!5.2a13This one is a classic white color that really stands out against the greenery! This chandelier’s design had a few baubles attached. Instead of removing them, they were left on for added character.

This project is about using the things you have on hand in a creative and fun way. Bring some extra life to the backyard with this crazy project!5.2a14My mom would love one of these! All it takes is a little bit of creativity and an afternoon! Oh, and don’t forget the flowers!
