One Woman’s Journey Is Inspiring Others! “70 Pounds Down, Never Felt So Good!”

Like many people, reddit user DontJudeMe didn’t really see a problem with her weight. But one day, someone told her boyfriend that she looked “fat.”

It really hurt my self esteem, I think I always saw myself as the person I am today. When I look back at old pictures I just think “when did I look like this?” She wrote.

But she decided to try something new. It was time for a lifestyle change, and she was finally ready. At just 26 years old, there was still plenty of time to embrace her new choices and see where it would take her.

I used to drink 8 to 10 sodas a day, and eat nothing but junk.”

Her words seem eerily familiar to a lot of people concerned about their own weight. How often do we stop to analyze exactly what we have eaten over the course of a day? We eat when we’re hungry, but a lot of the time, we eat because it has become a habit. She decided to break that habit by replacing those sodas with water and limiting the amount of sugar she was consuming. She added vegetables and chicken to replace a lot of the junk food, and said goodbye to pasta and bread.

She began to walk everyday and started going to the gym just to lift weights.
10-18a12These might seem like small changes, but she eventually saw results over time. 70 pounds later, she looks like a different person. It isn’t all great, though.

I have loose skin. I have stretch marks. I have cellulite.” She writes.

But in spite of it all, “70 pounds down, never felt so good!”
