The concept of “paying it forward” is simple. When you do something kind for someone else, you don’t expect anything in return, but you do hope that they will take it upon themselves to do a good deed for someone else. It doesn’t always have to be as extravagant as in this next story, but even a small few words of kindness can go a long, long way!
Happy 2nd anniversary! We wish you many more (we’ve been married for 11 years and survived – 3 kids later, too 😉 !) We couldn’t help but overhear your situation. Please enjoy dinner on us and know that we are praying for you.
-Mike & Melissa; Joshua 1:9″
The verse states that they should be strong and courageous – even in the face of this uncertainty while waiting for a heart transplant. It gave this couple hope, and touched them to receive such an unexpected gift!
This incredible act of generosity just shows that the world is not as bad as the media makes it out to be. There are still good, kind people in the world that truly care about the people around them! Mike & Melissa, the “mystery” couple, left before anyone could thank them. Dan and his wife want this story to spread like wildfire to thank them for their amazing gift – and want them to know that they will surely pay it forward!
