He Wanted To Bring His Dog Into The Hotel Room And Asked The Staff If It Was Alright…They Had To Get The Manager, Who Had THIS To Say About Dogs In His Hotel!

Traveling with pets can be a huge hassle if you aren’t accustomed to it. You have to have a place for them to sit in the car, and they need to be house-trained in order to have an enjoyable trip. Some people make “dog seats” out of pillows and harnesses to keep the dogs in one spot during long car rides. Some people keep their pets in crates while they travel. But the most difficult thing by far is finding a pet-friendly hotel. Most hotel sites don’t specifically say whether or not they allow pets on the premises, so you have to call and ask.

The price is usually something shocking, as well, but that comes with the territory.

This man decided that he would try calling a small hotel just off the road mid-way through his trip to see if his dog might be welcomed. This was the immediate response from the owner of the hotel!

I’ve been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I’ve never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls.

I’ve never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I’ve never had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel.

And, if your dog will vouch for you, you’re welcome to stay here, too.”

If only all hotels could be this understanding! As long as you don’t leave your pet unattended for too long, they are cleaner than most human guests. What do you think about pets being allowed in hotel rooms? Would you mind staying in a hotel that allows pets to stay as well, or do you prefer your rooms to be completely pet-free? As an animal lover, I can’t say that I would mind one bit! Especially if it meant I could say hello to the other pets in the building!
