He was just planning to stop in really quickly to grab something for dinner. He didn’t normally do this, and he didn’t normally shop at this store. Something told him to go in…and that “something” ended up getting him nearly 1 million likes on Facebook…
I NEVER stop at this Wal-Mart. I’m not posting this for likes…”
Critics of this post asked why this woman was in Wal-Mart in the first place if she knew that she wouldn’t have enough money for anything. Some speculated that it was all a scam to begin with and that she had probably brought her daughter along to garner sympathy and free food.
To these accusations, many people have replied that she was probably there “because God told her to go to Wal-Mart and she listened.” Others mentioned that she probably thought she had more money on her credit card but didn’t realize her mistake until she was already in the line. Some told stories about having to budget for $4 and an item rang up more at the register.
It doesn’t matter, really. What matters is that this man was touched that he could impact someone else’s life so much. All it took was a few minutes of his time and the change in his wallet.
