Cop Pulls Over Speeding Student…But Instead Of A Ticket, The Dash Cam Reveals A Wonderful Moment!

A car was speeding near the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and Officer Martin Folcyzk of the Menomonie Police Department was getting ready to issue a ticket. At 8:55 A.M., it wasn’t the greatest start to his morning…and as it turned out, it wasn’t too great for the speeder either!

He followed the car into a student parking lot and confronted the student, who had jumped out of his car wearing a suit and holding a backpack. When the officer said that he caught him speeding the frazzled student explained that he was trying to get his tie tied before heading to class.

I have to get a tie tied,” the driver said. “I have a presentation and I thought my buddy was home but he’s not, and I’m running behind.”

Officer Folcyzk had seen the car loop around in the neighborhood and mentioned that he was wondering why the student had driven in a circle. He took the tie from the student and instructed him to grab his license and insurance…and began to knot the tie himself!

Probably not the best knot, but it will work.” Officer Folcyzk admitted.

But he let the student off with a warning and bid him good luck on his presentation.

Better than what I was going to do,” the student said. “Thank you so much!”

The student ran towards the building to arrive on time to his presentation, and the image of the police officer helping adjust a student’s tie went viral!
