After A Shocking Revelation, She Has A Message For Guys Who Listen When Someone Says, “No Pictures!”

Kaylin Maree Schimpf was devastated when she went looking for pictures of her father. He passed away, but didn’t leave more than a handful of photographs behind. There were pictures of when he was younger, or in family photos, but there was almost nothing to document the last few years of his life.

Curious, she began to look through her own photos and realized that most of them were selfies or professional pictures. Nothing like the pictures she had taken of the people in her life. Everyone around her had pictures taken of them at different events, but none had been of her…because she was the one taking the pictures.

Dear men…. take the photo…

It doesn’t matter what she looks like, or if she tells you no, take the photo. You may not think about it often, or at all honestly. But how many photos does she capture of you, of your family and of your life you’ve built. But when she is gone, those photos won’t show your children the women who was behind the camera.9-14a11

Take the photo. Messy hair, no make up or a dirty old t-shirt won’t matter to your children when she is gone someday. What will matter is that you loved what you saw enough to take a photo, to document it, to preserve that moment in time of the woman you love. No woman wants to look back at a lifetime of selfies. Do what she does for you every day, and snap a few moments in time.

Be proud. Take photos of her. Before kids and after.

Just take the photo….”

Many women piped up to say that they didn’t want their kids to remember them without their “face” and in grungy everyday clothes. She had this to say:

Suck it up. That’s all I can say. Your kids won’t care because some day, when you’re gone, that’s all they have.”

The harsh reality has inspired hundreds of thousands of people. When you’re out and about, don’t wait for someone to offer to snap a photo. Shove the camera in their hand and smile – regardless of how you look – because the memory is more important to the loved ones who’ll want to remember you when you’re gone.
