When a recovering patient’s best friend required surgery, this surgeon knew that he was up to the important task. It wasn’t the type of surgery that he normally does, but he knew that if he tried his hardest, he’d be able to do it.
After performing surgery on a young boy, Dr. Groth made the extra effort to perform an additional surgery on the boy’s best friend — his stuffed animal.”
It turns out that the doctors at this hospital routinely help out a patient’s best friend, and once the picture was shared by the hospital, people began to share their own stories. One mother discovered her son’s stuffed monkey had been stitched up. One parent found their child’s stuffed animal with a cast just after her child had received one, too.
