She has called it “Maple Caramel Bacon Crack,” and people are in love with this recipe after hearing the name! Anything with maple, caramel AND bacon has got to be delicious, right?! It is impossible to mess up the recipe. (Even if you haven’t even bought the ingredients!)
She claims that out of all the food available on the planet, this is the last thing she ever wants to eat before she dies – it’s that scrumptious!
After greasing your parchment paper and preheating the over to 325ºF, you’ll open one of those cans of pressurized pastries and roll the dough out flat on your baking sheet. Keep the pastry seams intact. Next, take a fork and poke holes all over it to let the next step work even better.Next, cook some bacon! It will still be baked in the oven so don’t cook it all the way through. Next, pour out 1/4 cup of maple syrup over the dough, and add 1/4 cup of brown sugar to coat the entire surface.
Chop up your bacon and sprinkle it evenly on the pastry. Then add another 1/4 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup brown sugar! You’ll bake this for 25 minutes…
