7 Holiday Treats That Will Make Your Mouth Water! I Need To Try These ASAP!

In my house, it’s never “too early” to start planning for one of our favorite holidays in the year! Once the weather gets chilly and the snow starts falling, our thoughts and plans immediately shift to revolve around the holiday break! What will we do this year? Will we travel around to see family or stay at home and celebrate with our local friends? Of course, most everyone’s favorite part of the holidays are the many dinners and get-togethers that happen around the final month of the year…but what to bring? Usually, everyone is expected to bring a desert, and after staring and plate after plate of chocolate chip cookies…I decided to get a little creative! Add some flair to the desert table with these cute and clever deserts!

1. Banana Strawberry Santa

It might not be very cold where you live, so these adorable banana Santa’s are a great choice! Fruit is always a hit at these parties, especially after all of those rich foods and heavy cakes. Nothing beats biting into a delicious fruit after a meal big enough to fill up you until next year!

3. Christmas Tree Brownie Pops

The best part of this desert is that it is so easy to make! Cut your brownie into triangles, add peppermint sticks as stumps, and decorate your trees with icing and festive decorations! If the party you are attending is catering to adults, you can make these fun and festive Jello shots that are as beautiful as they are tasty! You can always skip the alcohol and just bring a cute and colorful treat if the party will have children in attendance. See the step-by-step instructions here!

5. French Silk Pie

When I was little, everyone called this pie a “chocolate yum yum” pie. I have no idea who started calling it that, but the name stuck at my house! For everyone else, it is appropriately named a French Silk Pie, and it is as decadent as it sounds! Learn how to make one of your own here for your next holiday party!

6. Raspberry Almond Thumbprint Cookies

These are perfect deserts for a large party! It’s easy to make dozens, and everyone can have a taste before they are all gobbled up! These are made with traditional Scottish shortbread, so you know they will be 100% delicious! If you aren’t a fan of raspberries, you can easily make another type of filling before drizzling these sweets with cream. See the recipe here and make these for a holiday party that everyone will remember!

7. Candy Cane Hearts

These will take a bit more effort than the rest of these recipes, but they are the most creative! You’ll need to melt the candy canes, shape them, and decorate the insides with melted candy, but the end results are just too fun! Everyone will be taking selfies with these lollipops, and they can easily double as party favors! Just wrap them in cellophane bags and add ribbon! See the instructions here.
