An overnight sensation is a relatively rare thing these days – sure, some stories can garner a few hundred thousands views and likes in a day or two, but for millions people to react in a matter of hours?! That’s insane. A flooring company in New Jersey, Stairfaces and Josephsen Hardwood Floors, got an unexpected BOOM in their web traffic overnight when the owner’s son posted a few photos on Twitter.
My dad takes pictures of the dogs at the houses he works on and posts them on his business’ Facebook page as employee of the week,” he wrote.
People fell in love. Instantly.
Basically, any time his father went out to clean, repair, or install flooring, he would usually encounter a sweet dog. The family’s pet would be wary of the new face working in their home, staring intently from across the room but usually warming up to the “intruder” after an hour or two!
Dad would take pictures for his company’s Facebook page and post a little blurb about their “employee of the week!”
Meet Frida. She is this week’s Employee of the Week, even though she was constantly biting my shoelaces, and trying to persuade me to let her outside. Sweet, sweet girl.” He wrote as a caption to one of the many pups he’d encountered while on the job.
And once he went viral, he shared a heartfelt thank you to his new fans. His newfound fame has people following his company page just for the dogs – some even live in other countries! If that doesn’t bring in new business, we don’t know what will!
