Finding ways to keep the kids occupied can be as simple as a sheet protector, some tissue paper, and mod podge! This is one of the easiest crafts to try out with your kids, and the results will be adorable no matter what! Use a variety of colors and chop up the paper into smaller pieces. Squares, triangles, stars, or even ripped up pieces will work for this project.
Cut open the sheet protector and lay it flat. On one side, use a layer of mod podge to stick the tissue pieces into random designs. This part can be as messy as they wish! When the entire sheet has been covered with tissue pieces, apply a layer of mod podge to the top of the tissue paper and smooth the other side of the sheet protector on top.
Let it dry completely! When the tissue is dry, the plastic sheet protector will peel right off and reveal a flexible collection of tissue paper.Cut shapes out of the paper and stick the creations to a window that gets a lot of sunlight with double-sided tape! They reflect the sunlight and cast rainbows across the room! This messy little project is a fun way for kids to express their creativity and display their works of art somewhere other than the refrigerator!
